I. Feature Overview
To improve your Web3 payment experience on Infini Checkout, we’ve introduced a new Wallet Connection feature. When you pay with stablecoins on non-TRON networks, Infini uses Reown AppKit to support one-click connection to 530+ mainstream crypto wallets. This upgrade gives you a smoother checkout flow, more wallet choices, and a more reliable connection experience—making payments easier and more efficient.
II. Pain Points Addressed
Limited wallet options: Previous flows may have supported only a small number of wallets, preventing users from paying with their preferred or trusted wallet and increasing the learning curve.
Unfriendly connection experience: Older wallet connection methods could be complex, unstable, or unclear—especially for Web3 beginners—resulting in interruptions during checkout.
Hard to find the right wallet: With long wallet lists, manually locating a specific wallet is time-consuming. Without effective search and filtering, payment efficiency suffers.
Security and trust concerns: Using non-standard or lesser-known wallet connection components may raise concerns about asset security and influence payment decisions.
Lower success rate and higher drop-off: Poor compatibility and frequent connection failures can limit payment success rates. Many users abandon transactions during checkout due to wallet connection issues, directly impacting conversion for merchants and platforms.
III. Key Highlights
Broad wallet coverage (530+ wallets): Infini supports over 530 wallets, covering most mainstream and long-tail options. Whether you use MetaMask, Trust Wallet, or others, you can quickly find and connect with one click.
Smoother connection flow: Powered by Reown AppKit, the connection experience is more streamlined with clearer guidance and improved stability—reducing unnecessary steps.
Smart search and filtering: Use [Search Wallet] to find your wallet by name. You can also enable [Only WalletConnect-certified] to show only wallets officially certified by WalletConnect for added reassurance.
Security-focused foundation: Infini uses Reown AppKit (WalletConnect Web3Modal) as the core component, leveraging an industry-recognized standard to protect your connection and transaction flow.
IV. Step-by-Step Guide
1. On the Infini Checkout page, select [Stablecoin Payment].
In [Select Coin], choose the stablecoin you want to pay with (e.g., [USDT]).
In [Select Network], choose a non-TRON network (e.g., [Ethereum (ERC20)]).
Confirm the amount, then click the black [Connect Wallet] button at the bottom of the page.
2. In the [Connect Wallet] pop-up, select a recommended wallet from the list (e.g., MetaMask, Binance Wallet).
You can also use [Search Wallet] to quickly find a wallet by name.
3. For extra assurance, toggle [Only WalletConnect-certified] next to the search box. The list will show only wallets officially certified by WalletConnect.
4. Click your wallet. Infini will redirect you to the wallet app or website. Follow the prompts in your wallet to authorize the connection and complete payment.
V. Tips
Use search to find wallets instantly: If your wallet isn’t in the recommended list, type its name in [Search Wallet] to locate it among 530+ options.
Enable certified filtering for better assurance: We recommend turning on [Only WalletConnect-certified] to hide uncertified wallets and reduce potential risk.
Keep your wallet up to date: Make sure your wallet app (mobile) or extension (browser) is updated to the latest version for better compatibility, stability, and security.
VI. FAQ
Q: Why does nothing happen after I click [Connect Wallet]?
A: Check whether your browser is blocking pop-ups or whether an ad blocker is preventing the wallet window from opening. Try disabling those extensions temporarily or switching browsers. Also make sure your network connection is stable.
Q: What if my wallet isn’t included in the 530+ list?
A: Use the search function to double-check spelling and keywords. If the wallet still doesn’t appear, please contact customer support.
Q: After connecting my wallet, the page shows “Insufficient Balance” or “Transaction Failed.” What should I do?
A: This usually means your wallet doesn’t have enough of the selected stablecoin on the chosen network to cover the payment amount, or it doesn’t have enough native tokens to pay gas fees (e.g., ETH on Ethereum). Please ensure both balances are sufficient.
Q: Why doesn’t TRON follow this flow?
A: TRON uses a different address and transaction structure. To optimize the experience on that chain, payments typically use a more direct flow (such as QR code scanning or address copying). The current wallet connection flow primarily targets Ethereum and other EVM-compatible networks.
