Select, Create, and Manage Cards

Written by Emy Huang

I. Feature Overview

To help individual users manage subscriptions, shopping, travel, and other everyday expenses, Infini has introduced the [Cards] feature.

You can create a Lite, Pro, or Max card in the Infini App and fund it with USDT or USDC from your account. Each card is designed for different use cases, including AI subscriptions, everyday purchases, travel, and higher-value spending. You can also view card balances and transaction history, add or redeem funds, lock cards, and close cards directly in the app.

Card and related payment services are provided by partner institutions. Card availability, transaction outcomes, and fees are subject to the applicable card terms, merchant rules, and the latest service terms.

II. Pain Points Addressed

  1. Different payment scenarios have different card requirements: AI tools, advertising platforms, streaming services, e-commerce merchants, and travel platforms may apply different payment rules. A single card may not be accepted by every merchant.

  2. Cross-currency fees can be difficult to compare: FX fees, cross-border transaction fees, small transaction fees, and refund fees vary by card. Choosing the wrong card may increase your payment costs.

  3. Subscription and purchase records are fragmented: When you use multiple payment methods, it can be difficult to track monthly spending, card balances, and transaction statuses in one place.

  4. Mobile wallet support varies by card: Some users need to link their cards to Apple Pay or Google Pay, but mobile wallet availability differs across card types.

III. Key Highlights

  1. Three card options for different use cases: Choose Lite, Pro, or Max based on the merchant type, transaction amount, mobile wallet requirements, and applicable fees.

  2. Stablecoin funding: Select USDT or USDC as the funding currency when creating a card. The estimated amount will be calculated using the applicable reference exchange rate.

  3. Centralized transaction history: Go to [Cards] -> [Transaction History] to view your monthly spending, total card balance, and transaction records. You can also search by merchant name or transaction ID.

  4. Essential card management tools: View card details, rename cards, add or redeem funds, and lock or close cards when needed.

  5. Cashback on eligible purchases: Pro and Max cards offer base cashback on qualifying transactions. Selected spending categories may qualify for a higher rate. Eligible merchants, cashback rates, calculation methods, and payout schedules are subject to the latest cashback terms.

KYC Level 2 required

  1. Max cards require KYC Level 2 verification. If your current verification level does not meet the requirement, tap [Upgrade Here] and complete the verification process before trying again.

  2. The 3% cashback rate is available to Elite-tier accounts.

Create a Card

  1. Select a card type, then tap [Open Lite Card], [Open Pro Card], or [Open Max Card].

  2. Enter a recognizable name in [Card Name], such as "AI Subscriptions," "Everyday Spending," or "Travel Bookings."

  3. Select USDT or USDC under [Payment Currency]. Your available balance for the selected currency will be displayed.

  4. Enter the initial funding amount under [Amount]. You can also select a preset amount of USD 10, USD 50, USD 100, or USD 200. The minimum initial funding amount is USD 10.

  5. If your account balance is insufficient, tap [Deposit] to add funds to your Infini account.

  6. Review the card issuance fee, reference exchange rate, and estimated amount. The standard card issuance fee is USD 10 and is currently waived. The offer and its availability are subject to the terms presented before submission.

  7. Confirm the information and tap [Create]. Once the card has been created, it will appear in your [Cards] list.

View and Edit Card Details

  1. Select the card you want to manage from the [Cards] page.

  2. Tap [View Details] to view the full card number, expiration date, CVV, and available balance. Keep your card information secure and do not share it with others.

  3. To rename the card, tap the [Pencil] icon next to the card name. Enter a new name and save the change.

  4. When making an online payment, enter the card number, expiration date, CVV, and billing address requested by the merchant. Use the billing address provided in the card details.

Add or Redeem Card Funds

  1. Open the relevant card and tap [Add Funds].

  2. Select a payment currency and enter the amount. Review the exchange rate and estimated amount before submitting.

  3. To transfer the card's available balance back to your Infini account, tap [Redeem] and follow the on-screen instructions.

  4. If the card has pending transactions or redemption requests, part of the balance may be temporarily unavailable for transfer.

Lock or Close a Card

  1. If you notice an unfamiliar transaction or do not plan to use the card temporarily, tap [Lock] on the card details page. A locked card cannot be used for transactions until it is unlocked.

  2. If you no longer need the card, tap [Close]. Closing a card is irreversible, and the card cannot be restored afterward.

  3. Before closing the card, confirm that it has no pending transactions or refunds. Card issuance fees are generally non-refundable. Any remaining available balance will be handled in accordance with the applicable card terms.

View Transaction History

  1. Go to [Cards] -> [Transaction History].

  2. View [Monthly Spending] and [Total Balance] at the top of the page.

  3. Enter a merchant name or transaction ID in the search field to find a specific transaction.

  4. Tap the filter icon to filter transactions by the available criteria.

  5. Select a transaction to view its amount, merchant, date, status, and other details.

V. Best Practices

  1. Name cards by purpose: Use names such as "AI Subscriptions," "Streaming," or "Travel Bookings" to make transactions easier to identify and reconcile.

  2. Compare the fee structure before selecting a card: For smaller purchases, consider the Max card's small transaction fee. When using a Max card outside Hong Kong, also account for the applicable cross-border transaction fee. Refer to the latest fee schedule for current rates and conditions.

  3. Confirm mobile wallet support in advance: Lite and Max cards support Apple Pay and Google Pay, while Pro cards currently do not. Successful wallet linking may also depend on your device, region, and the wallet provider's requirements.

  4. Review balances and transaction history regularly: Check that your card has sufficient funds before a subscription renewal. Review [Transaction History] regularly, and lock the card and contact customer support if you notice an unfamiliar transaction.

  5. Use the correct billing information: Use the billing address provided in the card details. Transactions may be declined if the billing information does not match the card information.

VI. FAQ

  1. Q: How many cards can an individual user create?

A: Under the current rules, users who have completed individual KYC verification can create up to 10 cards. Max cards also require KYC Level 2 verification. Card limits and verification requirements are subject to the latest service terms.

  2. Q: Is there a fee for creating a card?

A: The standard card issuance fee is USD 10 and is currently waived. A minimum initial funding amount of USD 10 is still required. Promotional terms and card issuance fees may change, so review the applicable information before tapping [Create].

  3. Q: Why am I unable to create a card even though my account has a balance?

A: Check whether the available balance of your selected payment currency is sufficient to cover the initial funding amount and any other applicable fees. USDT and USDC balances cannot be combined for a single payment.

  4. Q: Why am I unable to open a Max card?

A: Max cards require KYC Level 2 verification. If your verification level is insufficient, tap [Upgrade Here], complete the verification process, and try again.

  5. Q: Why was my card payment declined?

A: Common reasons include insufficient balance, a locked card, mismatched billing information, merchant restrictions, issuer risk controls, or transaction limitations. Review the decline notification for more information and contact Infini customer support if needed.

  6. Q: Why can't I link a Pro card to Apple Pay or Google Pay?

A: Pro cards currently do not support Apple Pay or Google Pay. If you need mobile wallet support, consider using a Lite or Max card.

  7. Q: How is cashback calculated?

A: Pro and Max cards offer base cashback on eligible transactions. Selected spending categories may qualify for a higher rate. Eligible merchants, transaction requirements, cashback limits, and payout schedules are subject to the latest cashback terms. Cashback credited for a transaction may be deducted if the transaction is refunded or reversed.

  8. Q: Why is my refund lower than the original transaction amount?

A: All three card types charge a 1% refund fee. If cashback was credited for the original transaction, the corresponding cashback may also be deducted. The final amount is shown in the refund details.

  9. Q: Why haven't I received the verification code after a Lite card transaction triggered 3D Secure verification?

A: Select [E-mail] as the verification code delivery method and check your spam folder. Delivery may be delayed due to processing by the relevant service providers. If the merchant requires verification within a short period, the verification session may expire before the code arrives.

  10. Q: Can I restore a card after closing it?

A: No. [Lock] is temporary, and a locked card can be unlocked later. [Close] permanently terminates the card and cannot be reversed. Before closing a card, confirm that it has no pending transactions.
